Selected Conductors - Riccardo Muti Italian Opera Academy

The second edition of the Italian Opera Academy took place in Ravenna from July 23 to August 5, 2016 and was focused on La Traviata.
Selected conductors - Jiao Yang (30, China), Alberto Maniaci (29, Italy), Dawid Runtz (24, Poland), Giedre Slekyte (27, Lithuania) – had the chance to study and examine in depth one of Verdi’s most famous operas.
On the stage of Teatro Alighieri, together with Orchestra Cherubini, the selected singers: sopranos Claudia Pavone (Italy) and Venera Protasova (Russia), tenors Ivan Defabiani and Oreste Cosimo (Italy), and mezzosoprano Mariangela Marini (Italy).
